Primary School Projects
At Round Midnight we can offer a number of fantastic workshops for Primary schools.
Whether you need us to lend a hand to build an ear in order to understand how hearing works, or you need us to facilitate a trip into outer space, there’s no scientific journey too big or too small for the Round Midnight team. Bringing theory to life is a great, engaging way, to help young people learn in a hands on way.
Whatever historical topic your school is focusing on, from Dinosaurs to Dynasties, using our creative practice we can bring your history lessons to life. If you’re finding the Tudors troubling, or you’re getting earache over the Egyptians, we can build a history lesson based around your needs. And we guarantee it won’t feel old.
Books, authors, poems, language: Round Midnight does it all. Using the arts to build upon student’s curriculum knowledge really helps build confidence in skills both old and new. This practical approach to learning has been beneficial to countless young people on their individual literacy journeys.
Through the use of drama and music pupils can learn about shapes, times tables, currency, time, addition, subtraction and multiplication. Bringing maths off the page and into a student’s real life can help them make sense of this brand new language! By using our years of hands on experience in facilitation, you can trust that we will adapt to the needs of the students, ensuring they all feel involved and their experience ‘counted’ for.
Equality and Diversity:
Interactive workshops that educate Primary School children on equality and diversity are part of our large repertoire here at Round Midnight. Our workshops fall in line with the Government’s Equality Act 2010 and they look to challenge and educate student’s in new and memorable ways.
Round Midnight have a rich and diverse history in teaching and facilitating PSHE workshops. Topics such as friendship, bullying, healthy relationships, healthy eating and personal hygiene are just a few of the numerous topics we cover for Primary School students. The creative practices we are able to bring to the table can really help young people understand the world around them in a new, tangible way.
