Round Midnight have the pleasure to announce that we will be casting two characters for a BBC comedy pilot.
We are looking for:
Little Aks – British Asian girl between 9 – 12 years old.
Aks is a major role within the show so needs to be confident but still have an air of innocence about her. She is tuned into the adult world in the way she handles herself and is not phased by most adult situations. She does however still have the interests and views of a little girl which she is able to make relevant to the adult world in which she lives. She should be funny, witty, and confident speaking to adults.
Saira – British Asian girl between 18 – 24 years old.
Saira is a trainee pharmacist. She is very shrewd and independent and often takes care of her younger sister, Aks. Her brother, the eldest sibling in the household, feels he must double up as a father figure which also proves a point of tension between the two.
