On the tenth day of December, Round Midnight gave to me…

…a lovely little update!

We’re busier than ever here at Round Midnight on the run up to Christmas, as I’m sure you are too! So here’s a quick catch up of what we’re up to…

Phil and Sami are working closely with the students of North Birmingham Academy, Birmingham and Hawthorne Primary School to create their Christmas Extravaganza, being performed this Thursday at NBA! Break a leg everyone!

The Round Midnight team are also embarking on their final rehearsals for Edmund Campion’s performance of “28 Minutes Later”. The students of Edmund Campion Secondary School in Erdington, Birmingham have been rehearsing every Wednesday since September in drama, singing, visual arts and filming classes in preparation for their performance on Wednesday 18th December!

On Friday, the Round Midnight team performed our TIE piece, “Battered” at Solihull Sixth Form College for their Health Day and had a spectacular response. A big thank you to Solihull Sixth Form and all those who helped organise the day  – it was fantastic.

Finally, Sami and Josie are delighted to begin their work with Stoke-on-Trent City Council on a Creative Consultation with LGBT Young People looking into risk taking behaviour. It’s the first session this Saturday so planning is well underway for the project!

As you can see, there’s lots going on here for us at Round Midnight – but we’ll be sure to check in with you all before we break up for Christmas 2013!
