Mid August

Hello there! Welcome to August!

Our Clifton Road Performing Arts Summer Schools were an absolute success.

The 7 – 11 group performed “The Bobbits” fantastically – so fantastically that we ran out of chairs at the venue! Thank you everyone for coming along and showing your support of your amazing young people. What a great show.

The 11 – 16 group then went on to produce “Countdown to VanDoom’s Day” – a slightly smaller audience but still such a fantastic turn out and a very impressive show.

So we’d like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you and well done to everyone involved in both shows. We certainly had a great time and we hope you did too!!

On Friday 31st August, the Round Midnight Team will be performing “Battered” – our Theatre in Education piece that focuses on underage drinking, and the risks and consequences it holds.
The performance will take place at 6pm and 8pm at The Factory Young People’s Centre, Longbridge a brand spanking new youth centre where we will be (fingers crossed) opening a brand new strand of Raw Talent Youth Theatre! So come along and check out the centre and Battered.

The planning for our next major event, ArtsFest is now underway. We have a performance slot for Raw Talent at 12:30 at the Birmingham Conservatoire on Saturday 8th September. So come along and check out our medly performance, “Chicken in a Basket”.

That’s all for now, but watch this space!
