What we’ve been up to…

The Round midnight team have been very busy over the last month…

Firstly it is with great sadness that we have had to say goodbye to our very own Josie Stringer. She’s been a huge part of the company for the past 5 years and will be missed – we wish you all the best in the future Jose!

On a brighter note, we are pleased to announce that this month we have launched “The Rainbow Jumper” – A brand new primary school program that celebrates diversity. The program is an interactive workshop and Play in a Day that educates children on equality and diversity, through the telling of a wonderful story of a young boy and his rainbow jumper. The pupils at Allens Croft Primary School were the first to experience this fantastic project, and what a wonderful school they are!

Recently Round Midnight have also become a fixture at University of Birmingham School delivering weekly sessions as part of the school’s enrichment scheme. The work has been based around purpose and empathy on which the group have devised an amazing performance which will be showcased later in the year.

Our weekly sessions are continuing at St Edmund Campion Secondary School and the students are working hard towards their Christmas performance “When The Grinch came to Campion!”.

As we’re full swing into a new academic year now, Round Midnight have plenty lined up for the coming months. TIE performances, history days, CPD training… to name a few. It’s looking like it’s going to be a good end to a successful 2016!
