Summer is finally upon us!
This coming Monday (July 23rd) sees the start of our 7 – 11yr old Performing Arts Summer School at Clifton Road Youth Centre – ‘The Bobbits’. There are still a few places left, so get in touch now if you’re looking for something brilliant to do in the first week of the Summer hols!
Next Monday (July 27th) we’ll begin our 11 – 16yr old Performing Arts Summer School at Clifton Road Youth Centre – ‘Countdown to VanDoom’s Day’. It equally promises to be a fantastic week.
The week of 6th August and 13th August, we will be introducing our Performing Arts Summer Schools at our fantastic new venue – The Factory Young People’s Centre in Longbridge. If you know of anyone between the ages of 7 and 16 who love performing, then let them know about our Longbridge Summer Schools and get in touch!
The past few weeks have been a very busy period – Positive Moves has come to an end until our new program starts in September. Josie, Julie and Jilly had such a brilliant and rewarding time throughout the whole process and would love to say a huge thank you to all of the women who attended. The new course will be starting mid September so get in touch if you fancy joining us.
The Round Midnight Team performed ‘Reunited’ last week in Walsall. ‘Reunited’ takes a look at a group of old college friends meeting up for a reunion and the training programme explores preconceptions. The piece was fantastic and well received by all.
Raw Talent Youth Theatre has been none stop over the past few weeks! With the 7 – 11 show “Police, Camera, Action” taking place on 7th July and the 11 – 16 show “28 Minutes Later” taking place on 14th July, as well as Raw Talent Teenies in Meriden having their showback of ‘The Smartest Giant in Town’ last night – and Raw Talent Teenies in Sutton having theirs tonight! Keep it up Raw Talent! You’re all fantastic.
Phil and Sami have recently been working at a school in Erdington, producing a new promotional video for the staff and pupils to showcase who they are and what they can do. Having dealt with some very tough weather conditions – the filming is now complete and ready to edit!
So as you can see, we have lots going on here at the moment. We will do our best to keep you updated with our latest on goings! But for now, we hope you all have a wonderful start to your summer.
